• “Going Great” 1982
  Keanu as Co-Host Season 3
  Co-produced by the CBC and Cineworld, Going Great was a Canadian magazine show aimed at kids and pre-teens. Hosted by actor Chris Makepeace, the series trafficked heavily in segments featuring “ordinary” people pursuing extraordinary jobs or hobbies, and also celebrity interviews. Ironically, two of the series’ “reporters” would later become celebrities in their own right: Megan Follows and Keanu Reeves. The recipient of several industry awards, Going Great was syndicated throughout Canada from 1982 to 1985. (Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide)
• The Tracey Ullman Show
  Keanu as Jesse Walker
  A variety/sketch show brought to you by funnywoman Tracey Ullman. The show was one of the first programs on the then-new FOX Network in the U.S. in the mid 1980s. Tracey’s show was a sketch comedy show including lots of singing and dancing. The Simpsons appear as short, animated sketches, interspersed between the main, live-action sketches.

  On New Year’s Day, Barbara (Tracey Ullman) wakes up in Jesse Walker’s (special guest star Keanu Reeves) bed after a wild New Year’s Eve party the night before where the teenager proposed and married her.
• Trying Times

  This half-hour sitcom anthology, produced for PBS starting in the Fall of 1987, focuses on people who are struggling with the daily routines of life.
• “Moving Day” (episode # 1.6) 22 November 1987
  Night Heat
  Keanu as Thug # 1
  The exploits of the detectives of the Mid South Precinct, in a generic North American city not unlike New York (but a lot like Toronto), chronicled through the eyes of newspaper columnist Tom Kirkwood and his “Night Heat” column.
• “Necessary Force” (episode # 1.2) 7 February 1985
  Kevin and Frank pursue two criminals to a back alley. The two thugs try to escape, one manages to get away – the other gets shot by Frank when he appearently pulls out a gun. An investigation of the crime scene finds no trace of a gun, only a flashlight.
