Ode to Happiness

You can now purchase Ode to Happiness a book written by Keanu Reeves and illustrated by Alexandra Grant.

Ode to Happiness is a grown-up’s picture book. Featuring artwork by artist Alexandra Grant and text by actor Keanu Reeves, this thoughtfully crafted artist’s book serves as a meditation on making the best of a bad situation. In the tradition of a classic “hurtin’ song,” the text externalizes what is typically an internal monologue, a spontaneous, melancholy incantation of near-hopelessness—and in so doing, subtly pokes fun at it. The images—beautifully realized in somber inky washes of black on white—reflect the dark and light, the pathos and humor of the text. Neither entirely earnest nor wholly ironic, the book is ultimately completed by the reader, who brings his or her own experience to its interpretation.
Ode to Happiness is a testament to collaboration. Arising from the authors’ friendship and facilitated behind-the-scenes by Janey Bergam, the book was created through a process of exchange, as a gift each collaborator gave the other. Completing the collaboration was Gerhard Steidl, the legendary German printer and publisher who precisely translated the original artwork into book form and brought elegance and simplicity to its binding and packaging.
Intended as a reminder to take oneself only so seriously, Ode to Happiness is both a meditation and a gentle tease about how we cope with life’s sorrows.

THE STORY OF THE ARC OF THE COVENANT BEGINS
    IN LEBANON,
    WHERE KEANU REEVES WAS BORN.

THERE ARE CURRENTLY SEVEN TALES OF
ARCHEOLOGISTS WHO THINK THEY HAVE SOLID
LEADS ON THE TRUTH ABOUT WHERE ON EARTH
THE ARC OF THE COVENANT IS.

    CRIS ERICSON BRINGS YOU THE
    EIGTH AND FINAL TRUTH.
Cris Ericson is looking for Keanu Reeves!

I challenge you to a game of
WHERE IS THE ARC OF THE COVENANT?

I have been working on the adventure motion picture
script (and music) for Champ the Lake Champlain Monster
for many years, and I never finish because there is always
more, LEADING TO THE ARC OF THE COVENANT.

ALL OF THE CURRENT THEORIES ABOUT WHERE THE
    ARC OF THE COVENANT IS,
    ARE IN ERROR.

To be brief, Pirate Captain Raven Tyree packed up his
priate ship with food in straw and ice from Loch Ness,
    Scotland.

In the ice from Loch Ness was a bright green egg
    of a Loch Ness Monster.

Pirate Captain Raven Tyree sailed out of Loch Ness,
Scotland, out into the Atlantic Ocean, westward to
Canada past Prince Edward Island and then
westward on the St. Lawrence River and down
into Lake Champlain which is now bordered by
    Canada, New York and Vermont.

Pirate Captain Raven Tyree was caught in a crossfire
between the War with the French and
a cannon ball hit his ship and sunk it.

At the bottom of Lake Champlain, the ice his food
was packed in melted, and the bright green egg
rolled out, and Champ the Lake Champlain
    Monster was born.

Pirate Captain Raven Tyree was able to swim to shore,
and as the years went by, and baby Champ grew to
be a huge green sea monster,
eventually, the pirate captain had to explain to
“his boy”, like a man to his favorite dog,
that he was not really a Lake Champlain monster,
that Champ was really a Scottish Loch Ness Monster.

Many adventures go on, of course, part of them being
Champ looking for a mate, and only a Loch Ness female
    will do.

The tables eventually turn and Champ, hearing the whispering
secrets of the seas, tells Pirate Captain Raven Tyree
that he too, is not what he thinks he is.

Champ take Pirate Captain Raven Tyree on an adventure
to show him his real roots.

The adventure, naturally, starts in Scotland, at the
    Tiree Scarinish Harbour,
and then over to the Raven Stone.

The Raven Stone is located in Tyrie in Aberdeenshire
and Tyrie is the presbytery of Deer and the synod of
    Aberdeen.

The Raven Stone looks like an Egyptian carving.
The Raven is actually an Eagle.

How can something that looks like Egyptian art
    be in Scotland?

Who would have copied Egyptian symbols and art
and carried this culture to Scotland?

Next, Champ leads Pirate Captain Raven Tyree on
an adventure to Tyri Fjord (Tryifjord)
    in Norway.

Why would anyone flee north to Norway?

Down south in the Mediterranean Sea,
there was a 7 month seige of Tyre, which is now
part of the country of Lebanon back in Bible days.

Babylon was dominant on land, but Tyre ruled
    the seas.

Tyre was actually a small island near the mainland,
a formidable fortress that withstood the
Assyrian seige and the Babylonian seige.

Bible scholars ask: “What did the people of
Tyre have to be afraid of?”

The answer is allegedly provided in Isaiah 23:9
    Pride goeth before a fall.

    Eze 29:17-18 states that Nebuchadnezzar
raised a seige against Tyree, but received no
    profit from it.

Is it possible that valuables were removed prior
to the seige by the vast fleet of ships Tyree had?

    Which valuables were removed?

Look at Bible scripture: Soloman asked King
Hiram of Tyre to help build the Temple.

“Hiram sent to Soloman, saying, I have
considered the things which thou sentest to
me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning
timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir.
My servants shall bring them down from
Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by
sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt
appoint me, and will cause them to be
discharged there, and thou shalt receive them:
and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in
    giving food for my household.

So Solomon built the house (of the Lord), and
finished it. And he built the walls of the house
with boards of cedar, both the floor
of the house, and the walls of the ceiling; and
he covered them on the inside with wood, and
covered the floor of the house with planks
    of fir.

And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set
there the ark of the covenant of the Lord.

And King Soloman sent and fetched Hiram
    out of Tyre.
And he came to King Solomon, and wrought all his work.

Now, this is a terrific breach of history to suggest
that King Hiram of Tyree, while building so
much of the work in the House of the Lord,
may have confiscated the real Arc of the
Covenant, and sent it on a ship to Norway,
but no one else has found the
    Arc of the Covenant,
so it is time for far-reaching arguments.

    Captian Raven Tyree’s ancestors
    were not really Scottish,
they were from the Island of Tyre,
    now located off Lebanon and
    named thereafter, just like
TyrijFjord in Norway and Tiree Scarinish Harbour
    in Scotland,

No other theory on the Arc of the Covenant
has produced the actual Arc of the Covenant.

Take out a map, and follow the trail
of Tyree to the Raven Stone in
    Aberdenshire, Scotland,
    and you may find the
Arc of the Covenant hidden there.

My boyfriend took his life in 2001. I wash my hair with regrets and take sorrow baths. I meditate and feel his unearthly presence and I long to live again. The funny part is he was Keanu Reeves double. So I find great comfort in this book knowing that he lost the love of his life as well. So hard to forget those that we love. Ode to Happiness. OHM
