Variety reports that Scott is now officially attached to helm the Alien prequel, and Jon Spaihts is set to write the script. It was Spaihts who apparently lured the director back to the franchise, and he had a little help from actor Keanu Reeves.
Reeves is set to star in Spaihts’ script “Shadow 19” which is set up at Warner Bros, and he subsequently hired the screenwriter to pen the sci-fi epic “Passengers.” It was that script that got him a meeting with Fox and Scott, and his pitch won him the prequel gig and reportedly sold the director on returning.

GO KEANU!! Warner Bros sure likes K-man!! I am not a huge fan of the alien movies,but if he got his thing off the ground…KUDOS!!
Oviously I will go see it and then buy the blue ray though ;0)!!

Well, I believe that Sci-Fi movies fit you the best!
Not bad with dramas and comedies but you have to admit that you are too complicated to star in an obvious movie!
I’m a big fan of Sci-Fi, they inspire me in creating art and make me feel that: “Yes indead, I watched a movie not another Something that reminds me of A… drama I saw on a casino floor where a chick is making a scene in front of everybody regarding her love life or whatever else she might not be happy about, hoping that somebody may like her performance and make her famous!”
So I wouldn’t miss this one!

Does he really read our comment? Anyways, keanu is great of the greatest. After he was not exposed to the screen movies for a long time. I dearly missed him so much and I look forward to watch his new projects. Seeing his beautiful face is like full of mystery. Hoping that its going to be successful that he would really accept the offer.
